Another BIG start to the year. Waihi Beach Lifesaving Beach Day Sports. 115 Years the oldest Sports Day Event in New Zealand. Families come from all over New Zealand for this and some would say all over the WORLD just to have their kids race on our Beach. Who wouldn't want to have a coconut on their mantle. AND be the holder of the open beach sprint Trophy started back in 1913. What a Magnificent show. Ngahinapouri School Pirate Production. We were there with sound, lighting and the odd prop or two to help make the show come alive.
