We have assessed our school site and after very minimal impact from the passing storm, we are pleased to announce that Owairoa Primary School will re-open tomorrow, Wednesday 15th February.
We look forward to welcoming our Owairoa ‘Family’ back to school tomorrow.

Further to an update from the Secretary of Education, for the safety and wellbeing of our students, staff and families, our school will be closed for instruction on Monday 13th February.
We will continue to monitor this situation closely and will reassess this decision on Monday afternoon. Our school will reopen as soon as possible, subject to mitigating and managing risks.
Any updates regarding a decision about reopening on Tuesday will be communicated with you via email and our skoolbag app.
