Melissa (nee Davies) grew up locally, attending Howick Primary, Intermediate, and Pakuranga College. Over her incredible 25 years in journalism, she has traveled the world covering everything from royal weddings to conflict zones. You likely know her best from her work on TV3, where she co-hosted The AM Show and worked as a foreign correspondent for 3News.

Recently, Melissa has been sharing practical literacy and education advice for parents, as well as researching the untold stories of Chinese New Zealanders who served during World War II.
