My Loaves, I spent this afternoon shopping for the delicious ingredients for my beautiful Fish Pies. First stop City Green fruit and veg Lower Hutt. I didn’t get to the vege market on the weekend and I want to support local.

Next stop, my favourite fish monger in Wellington Wellington Sea Market I love talking to the team, selecting my fish, it has to be fresh. I use a minimum of three different types of fish as well as prawns.

Final stop Moore Wilsons the best service by far for trade shopping.

I’m starting work extra early tomorrow, to make these beautiful luxury pies. Smoked Salmon, Ling, Hoki and Prawns. Finely chopped onion, green peas, boiled eggs in a white sauce (no cheese) topped with mashed potato.

The same Fish Pie recipe my mother taught me so you know it’s packed with love and memories. Ready and hot out of the oven by 11am Thursday.
