Following the latest NZ government announcement, the Auckland region moves to Alert Level 3 from 11:59pm 21 August 2021, while the rest of New Zealand operates at Alert Level 2. Ensure you’re across all updated Level 2 Guidelines including the new rules:

• Mandatory mask use by both customers and employees
• Maximum indoor occupancy is now 50
• Record-keeping is also now mandatory.

The three ‘S’s’ continue to apply with diners needing to be seated, separated and served by a single server where possible.

Alternate Recordkeeping
You now must have an alternative record-keeping system, which could be a manual register or a booking system, where you record the required detail. To help with setting this up download the government-supplied resources to make up a dropbox with detail cards to use.
