Awatoto Public Golf Course

Despite the forecast of only a few showers, we received a whopping 31mm of rain overnight so the course will be CLOSED today (Thursday 18th July 2024).

The course is closed today (Monday) & tomorrow (Tuesday) to allow our greenkeeping team to core our greens. The gate will be locked to avoid anyone unknowingly stepping onto the grass.
We look forward to seeing you all back out there on Wednesday.

Sadly, we were broken into overnight so we will be unable to open today while we clean up. Really disappointing for the team that have worked so hard at getting the course up and running again. Thankfully, our cameras captured everything before being smashed. If you did see anything suspicious at the course at about 11pm last night, please get in touch 💔

Another hot one here in the Bay! Thankfully our course has the refreshing sea breeze blowing through. Bring an umbrella for shade and drink lots of water. Nice cold drinks available at the cabin. See you there!
