Marc McGavick’s artworks celebrate the power of mark-making. Working with oil pastels and charcoal, Marc crafts detailed compositions, with each stroke contributing to a beautiful unfolding narrative. Inspired by Renaissance art and the intricacies of Old Master paintings, his practice is a celebration of the tactile act of working by hand.

Last week we shared a farewell morning tea to celebrate one of our wonderful volunteers, Flo.

A huge thank you for all the support you brought to the studio - encouraging and inspiring artists, helping keep our space organised and most importantly, making meaningful connections with artists.
