Jack n the Box Dog Training

Ninja and Tux’s monthly training session. Our searchers consisted of 19 hides, placed in 8 rooms and exterior.
Our goal is not to just find hides, but to read the environment and discuss the outcome of our hide placement choices.

An evening of learning new skills, building confidence and most important of all having fun.

A fun morning training tricks, tunnels, learning to go under objects, and a food manners demo.

Gin and Taz came to play. Our time together is all about teaching them new skills, playing fun games, building on already existing knowledge and keeping their incredible busy working minds happy.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of hanging out with Yoshi and his lovely people 💚🐾💙.

Another great weekend, judging scent work, over seeing new judges probationaries, eating, laughing. All in good company.
I loved watching the handler and dog teams that have trusted in my training. You were all amazing. I had some very proud moments 🐾😍🤩🥰.

Congratulations to my latest scent class. Together we discussed and worked converging odours, multiple hides, searched large areas with multiple elements, thought about search tactics, use of words when searching, reconnecting with your dog when the environment overrides odour.
What i learnt was to check all 13 hides before starting class, 2 hours after they had been laid, especially when the wind is gusting up to 52kmh. How could all the dogs can be wrong, including Ninja 😬. Confession time my hide left the perfect little arch under the rock and ended up in the very close rabbit hole 😬🐰🤦‍♀️😂.

Sometimes dogs just need to be dogs. A leisurely sniffari with the slobber crew and lunch with friends 🐾🌞.

Introducing my latest little trick stars 🤩. Today’s session was all about telling secrets, playing dead, middles, walking on owners feet, weaving, ringing bells and more.
