➕➖⏱️🏁Ok fine. We admit it. We're a little bit mad about maths here at Nelson College! We're always looking for ways to 'up our numbers!', and so, courtesy of the Academic Committee, the House competition has a brand new resident! MATHS!

🟰📐📏📊Today at lunchtime, juniors filled the library to test their wits (and their agility) in the all-new House Mathex challenge.

➗📈🔢🧠Teams raced against the clock to solve maths problems and deliver the answers to a panel of judges AKA the Academic Committee.

✖️⚡️💨🏎️🚀Cool heads and hot feet were needed and coming in first were CHAYTOR! Well done boys, The boys in green Domett were runners up with 25 points while the Mighty Robinson came in third with 22.

🥇🎯🔥🏆Thank you to our wonderful academic committee for organising this fun event and to Miss Culberson, who traded in her lunch break just to be at the competition, because she loves maths so much!
