Portraits for Peace✨🍉
Time goes fast, we’re are already in Autumn in Aotearoa and things don’t look any different. Every day a lot of innocent people are dying at the hands of other humans, the world doesn’t want to stop it’s wars. History repeats - do we learn nothing? How can we forget so fast? Sadly the suffering of Palestinian people isn’t unique there are many other conflicts in this moment that we don’t hear in the news e.g. Sudan, Yemen, Congo, Myanmar. As a photographer I’ve created this photo essay to promote peace, and I’m so grateful with all the people involved. It’s been hard to find a way to show the exhibition how I originally planned (even Facebook and Instagram didn’t allow me to run an ad to promote it) so please feel free to share the message and keep spreading the word. Cease fire now! Peace is the only way. The world doesn’t need war!

El tiempo vuela, ya estamos en otoño en Aotearoa y las cosas no parecen cambiar. Cada día, muchas personas inocentes mueren a manos de otros humanos, el mundo no quiere detener sus guerras. La historia se repite, ¿acaso no aprendemos nada? ¿Cómo podemos olvidar tan rápido? Lamentablemente, el sufrimiento del pueblo palestino no es único; hay muchos otros conflictos en este momento de los que no escuchamos en las noticias, por ejemplo, Sudán, Yemen, Congo, Myanmar. Como fotógrafo, he creado este ensayo fotográfico para promover la paz, y estoy muy agradecido con todas las personas involucradas. Ha
sido difícil encontrar una manera de mostrar la exposición como originalmente la planeé (incluso Facebook e Instagram no me permitieron pagar el anuncio). Te invito a compartir el mensaje y seguir difundiendo la palabra. ¡Cese al fuego ahora! La paz es el único camino. ¡El mundo no necesita la guerra! Este es un ensayo fotográfico inspirado en las personas que están sufriendo.
