OneBike of the Week!

Back to the old school for this week with another Kiwi classic. This Worldrider Mountain Machine is a rigid steel framed bike made by the Cyclemakers Group in Christchurch. Probably made in the late 80s or early 90s this would have been designed as a mountain bike to go anywhere.

Now it is going to make an amazing commuter unless you are feeling very brave!

Volunteer Appreciation Post!

Volunteer week 2026 has just past us and we want to say a huge thank you to all our volunteers past and present. You have all been an integral part of the OneBike project and made it the amazing community hub that it has become. You have given us a cumulative total of 1341 volunteer hours over the past 2 years.

We are looking forward to the future with all our existing volunteers and the new ones that will join us.

There are many local individuals and businesses that have helped to make the OneBike project what it is today.

When we moved to our current site, Campbells did us a huge favour and sorted us out with a temp power box. This has been keeping the jug boiling, bikes charged and the lights on. It has made the lives of our staff and volunteers so mouch more pleasant.
