Inside the world of AI, tech and innovation
02/02/2026
If you're still pretending AI isn't a remarkable tool for humanity, we need to talk.
I'm unapologetically pro-AI.
Because I've witnessed people at the absolute rock bottom of overwork. Struggling to surface and fighting a long, bleak winter each work day.
I couldn’t imagine a better outcome than finally freeing people from their work shackles because technology can do it for them.
AI is not the enemy. Overwork is. And overwork can cause serious life impacts. The stakes are high.

My parents are medical professionals, and I grew up in hospitals waiting for them to finish their rounds.
Yes, that has nothing to do with the law, but I saw how data and information helped make treatment decisions.
I was the only person in high school who chose to do work experience in the medical records department of a major metropolitan hospital.
I was fascinated by the way data assisted doctors in making more informed recommendations.
Thinking I might go into medicine, I worked in a day surgery during my final year of high school.
Ultimately, being too squeamish to go into medicine, I studied law and behavioural science instead - two other professions that deal with data and information.
During this period, I learned how to conduct research, make predictions, and evaluate situations objectively.
Now I get to do this everyday at AI Legal Assistant and I'm grateful that we are finally in a time when AI is a daily part of our lives.
Thanks to Jacqueline So at Australasian Lawyer for the write-up on my unconventional legal career

I left the law to spend more time with robots and I love it.
So much so that I'm spending this holiday season meeting with humans who need robots to help them perform tasks.
If you are in need of a robot to make your life easier, comment ROBOT and I'll send you my guide.
I cannot promise the robot will be as fluffy as this cutie but it will make your life easier.
P.s This post was not written by a robot.
