Ash Wednesday begins the season of Lent. A season of reflection, repentance and renewal in the Christian calendar. It’s a time for self reflection and spiritual reorientation, and we’re reminded of Genesis 3:19 “you are dust, and dust you shall return” in other words, life is never guaranteed. Yet, Ash Wednesday is not focused only on sorrow. It’s a call to hope. We place our trust in the Lord who overcame death, and as we turn our hearts toward Christ, we embrace his grace and begin a journey of transformation that will make its way to the cross then to the empty tomb - the fruits of everlasting life.

All are welcome to our contemplative and reflective service tonight @6.30pm as we prepare ourselves for Lent.
