Back in 1987 at Butler auto mart, gas was just 86 cents a litre. Imagine pulling up to the pump and filling your tank for pocket change those were the days! Fast forward to now, and it feels like a dream we’ll never see again.

Who else remembers paying under a dollar for gas?

Back in 1984, Butler Auto Spares decided to run its own survey. The results were clear in the years ahead, 30% more women would be taking care of their own car needs. It was a sign that times were changing, and more women were becoming car-conscious and confident in looking after their vehicles.

For the Butlers, this was more than just an interesting fact. It showed us the future of motoring, and we knew we had to be ready for it. That’s why we invested so much into a new building a space designed to welcome everyone and to meet the needs of every customer who walked through our doors.

What started as a simple survey turned into a turning point, shaping the way Butler Auto Spares grew to serve the community for generations to come.
