The Bay of Plenty Rural Support Trust is proud to be supporting a special evening with Willie Apiata — one of New Zealand’s Victoria Cross recipients — as he shares honest and practical kōrero around resilience, wellbeing, connection, and checking in on those around us.

Willie has experienced situations many of us couldn’t imagine, yet his message about looking after yourself and your mates is relatable to all of us.

This is a chance to come along, hear an incredible story, connect with others, and take away practical messages that matter.
