Paying it forward. This was for last years Oceanview 5000 but it was rained off and Oceanview Speedway have carried our donations over to this year's events. Good luck to all drivers, especially the W ones.

Update from Demo Derby 7 April 2024

A fun nights racing at Wellington Family Speedway. Weather was spot on and it was great to see the club put on a charity event with heaps of activities for families.

Tony headed out along with about 35 others in the last race of the night. Track was well watered 🤣🤣 so controlling the cars was a challenge.

He managed to get into the swing of things, hit a few cars, got spun a few times, got forced over the 'optional' ramp and spun out a few more times.

After about 6-7 laps the sherrifs gave him a good shunt and he was on the infield, finished for the night. A great top 10 finish.

We still managed to get the car on the trailer so maybe good for another derby.

Thanks to Barry, Red Leaf Coffee, Graphic Print & Sign Limited and the 56w stockcar crew, family and friends for getting us out there.

Big night at the Wellington Family Speedway with the Red Leaf Coffee red machine 12w (aka Ford Laser) making its debut in the derby.
