1nz Bathurst 2 hour enduro IORK champions. So proud of our team to win by 2 laps after a dominant but challenging race by other competitors trying to take us out so second place could get by. Was very fortunate with the kart we got randomly handed out being quick and we all were setting very fast lap times. Congrats to Noah and Harry for amazing driving and keeping composure our entire race. Amazing shoutout to Gabriel behind the scenes coordinating our pit stops and driver changes, being glued to the live timing for the whole 2 hours. Team Daytona on top

So happy to walk away with 1nz and be a national champion in the under 69.9 category. Such a hard fought battle with second swapping places consistently and chasing him down for a long time. Finally got behind lapped traffic and made my move and just focused lap after lap on trying to make a gap. Thank you to everyone who got me here and helped me, Ethan for the driving tips all weekend, to think a week ago I wasn’t even going to race to now being 1nz is the best feeling ever. Congrats to Toby on second place as well. Ahhhhhh national champion is an amazing thing to finally say.

Day 2 completed of IORK 2025. We are currently leading the points table in under 69.9 and joint first for group 2 of 70-85s and joint 4th overall in hole category out of 40. One more heat race in each class before the semis and finals tomorrow.

“In the scheme of things I’m very happy with how both my days have gone picking a couple wins and plenty of podiums. A bit unfortunate that the 2 times starting on pole I’ve struck bad luck with karts. My first race out the gate it had started raining half way through which gave me plenty of good experience before the expected wet finals tomorrow. I’m really aiming to try finish the under 69.9s on top tomorrow to set me up with a good kart for the final as some of the lighter people are impossible to catch with a quick kart down the straights. Positive mindsets for both categories heading into tomorrow with the trophies to be won but still plenty of work to do. The livestream is now working as well so make sure to tune in.”
