Not a bad view to work with😄

We just wrapped up a motel build in Wanaka - Ascot aluminium balustrades running across every balcony, black powder coat to match the joinery. Loved working alongside McIntosh Construction on this one. Well organised, clear communication, and everything lined up perfectly on site. That's the kind of partnership that makes a job enjoyable.

When you've got repeating balconies across a whole building, consistency matters more than people realise. Get one wrong and it shows. Get them all right and it just looks like it was always meant to be that way.

📍 Wanaka

We installed this frameless glass pool fence in Rarotonga seven years ago.

Last month we were back - not because anything had failed, but because a coconut had taken out one of the glass panels. (Nature has its own agenda.)

When we arrived on site, we were genuinely impressed. Seven years of salt air, tropical humidity and Cook Islands sun - and the installation looked almost exactly as it did on the day we finished it. The spigots, the hinges, the glass, all in excellent condition.

We replaced the glass, adjusted the gate hinges, straightened up a few panels and gave everything a thorough check. A small amount of regular maintenance will now keep it looking great for many more years.

This is the standard we hold ourselves to. We're proud to put our name on work that still performs many years later - wherever in the world it ends up.
