Be kind. Check on your friends. Listen without judging. Give people the space to feel what they feel, and remind them that they don’t have to go through everything alone.

You don’t have to have everything figured out. You don’t have to be strong all the time. And it’s okay to take a step back when life feels overwhelming.

Your mental health matters. Your feelings are valid. And asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. 💚

🌿 Tawatawa Reserve

Looking for a little escape from the city? Head to Tawatawa Reserve in Ōwhiro Bay!

This 64-hectare reserve is home to regenerating native bush, wetlands, walking tracks and beautiful natural surroundings. The Tawatawa Loop Track is around 2.8 km and takes about 1.5 hours, making it a great option for a peaceful Wellington adventure. 🌿🥾

📍 How to get there from Trek Global:
From Trek Global, head towards the city and catch Bus 29 towards Ōwhiro Bay. Get off around Murchison Street — the reserve entrance is halfway up Murchison Street, with a small car park at the entrance.

🚶 Tip: The tracks can be steep, muddy and have tree roots, so bring comfortable shoes and check the weather before you go!

A beautiful spot to slow down, breathe in some fresh air and explore another side of Wellington.
