Two For The World

THIS is why we LOVE road tripping New Zealand.

One route, no repeats, SO much diversity!! This is just some of what we got up to on our last road trip there, an epic two week trip out of Wellington through the central and lower part of the North Island, serving up:

> peaceful beaches
> cliff top walks
> an island bird sanctuary
> a forgotten highway through Middle Earth
> the real Hobbiton
> caving and blackwater rafting
> dolphin cruising
> two volcano hikes
> geothermal springs and mud baths
> waterfalls and rapids
> lake kayaking and Maori rock art
> gorge driving
> the first place in the world to greet the sunrise
> a wild stingray meet and greet
> wine tasting by bike…

….and so much more!

We’ve still got the north of the North Island to explore. Then we need to do all of it again.
