Pakistan School Muscat Inaugurates Parent Committees to Enhance Collaboration and School Development!
Pakistan School Muscat successfully held the inaugural meeting of its Parent Committees, marking a significant step towards strengthening collaboration between parents, educators, school leadership and the wider community in support of educational excellence & institutional development.
The event was attended by His Excellency the Ambassador of Pakistan to the Sultanate of Oman Syed Naveed Safdar Bukhari, distinguished officials from the Embassy of Pakistan, members of the Board of Directors of Pakistan School System Oman, senior management, principals, coordinators and members of the newly constituted Parent Committees.
The gathering reflected the school’s commitment to fostering meaningful stakeholder engagement, encouraging parents to play an active role in supporting the educational journey and overall development of students.
During the ceremony, members of six key committees were formally introduced and welcomed. These committees include the Academic Committee, Parents Committee, Construction & Maintenance Committee, Sports Committee, Culture & Events Committee, and Welfare Committee. Each committee has been entrusted with specific responsibilities aimed at contributing to the continuous growth and improvement of the school system.
Addressing the gathering, His Excellency the Ambassador of Pakistan commended the initiative and highlighted the importance of constructive parent engagement in promoting student success, strengthening school-community relationships, and supporting the development of future generations.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ameer Hamza the Chairman of the Board of Directors emphasized that the Parent Committees would serve as an effective platform for collaboration, dialogue & shared responsibility. He noted that parents are key partners in education, and their insights & contributions will help further enhance academic standards, student welfare, extracurricular activities, infrastructure development and community engagement initiatives.
Members of the Board of Directors and senior management reaffirmed their commitment to working closely with parents & stakeholders to create a positive, inclusive and future-focused learning environment. They stressed that sustainable educational excellence can only be achieved through strong partnerships built on trust, transparency and mutual respect.
The event concluded with an interactive discussion during which committee members shared their ideas & aspirations for supporting the school’s mission and contributing to the holistic development of students across the Pakistan School System in Oman.
The inauguration of the Parent Committees marks the beginning of a new chapter of cooperation & collective effort, reinforcing Pakistan School Muscat’s vision of building a stronger, more engaged and forward-looking educational community dedicated to serving students & families with distinction.
