With more than 350 animals from across the globe and with a plethora of activities, Oman’s largest Zoo in Ibra will open its doors to public on Thursday, the second day of Eid. Named the ‘Safari World’, the zoo features animals of various nature including lions, tigers, deers, gazelles, reptiles and birds from different continents of the world. Speaking to the Observer, Khalfan bin Saeed al Maamari, the chief promoter of the zoo said the entry fee has been fixed at RO 5 for adults and children below 12 will only be charged RO 3 while kids below 4 will enter free. The Zoo is open from 8 am to 7 pm everyday.
