We had the opportunity to serve alongside a church in the community of Tupicocha during their 11th church anniversary celebration. Our team supported the children’s and youth ministries, sharing with young people about challenges and issues that affect them at their age and encouraging them in their faith.
It was a special time of fellowship as we shared food together, celebrated with the church family, and they ended with a baptism. We are grateful for the opportunity to support and encourage this growing congregation.
During a recent Bible study, Hilda Huamán, a Quechua woman in the Runa Simi literacy program, shared how, for the first time, she was able to truly understand God’s Word because it was taught in her Quechua heart language. 📖🤍
Many women had never fully understood biblical teaching because it was often taught only in Spanish, and they did not have access to Bibles in Quechua. As they learn to read, each woman receives a Bible in her own language—and with it, a growing hunger to know more of God’s Word. 🙌
