Museo Sulca Textiles
Sulca Textiles is a place where the traditions of North, South and Central Peru join each other.
Paracas mantles were not only remarkable for their beauty, but also for the depth of knowledge behind every technique, color, and symbol. 🧶
At Casa Museo Sulca, we continue to share and preserve this living heritage of ancient Peru.
📍 Huayllarcocha Community, Km 10, Cusco–Pisac Road.
Our story began in Huamanga, Ayacucho, among generations dedicated to preserving the ancestral textile art.
🧵
The Sulca family inherited the knowledge, symbols, and techniques of the Wari culture, keeping alive a cultural heritage that continues to be passed down from generation to generation.
Today, we continue to share with the world the essence and memory of Ayacuchan textile art.
Today we celebrate the spirit of freedom and extend our warmest wishes to our friends and visitors from the United States.
Thank you for choosing Casa Museo Sulca to discover the rich traditions, textile heritage, and living culture of the Peruvian Andes. We are honored to be part of your journey and look forward to welcoming you again.
Happy Independence Day!
There are paths that are built with patience, time, and dedication.
Master Walter Sulca's is one of them: a life guided by commitment to his art and everything it represents.
Today we celebrate this path and everything he continues to leave for each generation.
Happy birthday, master!
