Peruvian Climbs

Often called the “Balcony of the Cordillera Blanca,” climbing Nevado Pisco (5,752m / 18,871ft) is one of the most rewarding mountaineering experiences in Peru. it’s famous for its 360-degree panoramic view at the summit. From the top, you are surrounded by the giants of the Andes.

There’s a specific kind of silence you only find at 6,000 meters. Watching the sun hit the ridges of Tocllaraju makes every freezing step worth it. There is nothing quite like the crisp air of the Cordillera Blanca.
