Embodying the cailleach for Catherine Young's Ciseach! Wild, gorgeous, magical, powerful!

Being side-stage and having the free reign to improvise has allowed me to enter an unreal flow state! In this moment, while the dancers are taking solos, I try and invoke as much energy (and other voices!) as possible. I go so feckin hard, afterwards I tend to drop my head inbetween my knees like ive been turned off or abruptly plugged out! haha! I love performing like this. Dressed in black, in the shadows, concerned only with my voice and how it weaves with the other musicians and my brothers and sisters on the stage. Magic! (the sequinned boots will have to wait! 😁)
