The 'Titan Ridge' Submarine Volcanic Eruption that occurred near Manus Province recently is expected to trigger a possible tsunami. Rabaul Volcano Observatory are warning that it is just a risk, and precautions in nearby communities need to be taken.

Turuk Health Center has received a new ambulance while the Primary School received K100,000 in School grant.
lAhli Junior High also received K100,000 in School grant . All fundings from PSIP . Arts, Culture and Tourism Minister Beldon Nama made the presentations accompanied by Governor Sasimdran Muthuvel and Minister for Economy and Rural Drvelopment Joseph Lelang. He also presented K10,000 to Turuk Health Center to assist with fuel for the new ambulance.
The presentations were done after the launch of MV Hiruoi last week.

The Validation workshop on the two Oil Palm bills takes place at San Remo today Thursday 21st May and Friday 22nd from 8am to 4pm.
