Police continue to redirect traffic along the Boroko-Murray Barracks route and near Foodland, in an effort to mitigate the disruption caused by disgruntled soldiers, who are stationed at the roundabout along the Hubert Murray Highway.

The protest relates to the recent recruitment process, and the removal of members who had alleged that nepotism was involved in the process.

Law enforcement personnel are closely monitoring the situation, and are prepared to intervene if tension escalates.

Police remain at the scene to ensure the general safety of the public and those protesting.
