🌿 Nine months from flower to bean: Building a Vanilla Business in Papua New Guinea
For Mama Nancy in East Sepik, vanilla is a family business, rebuilt after years of decline pushed many farmers away from the crop.
With support from Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) under the EU-STREIT PNG programme, she is improving bean quality, waiting for better buyers instead of selling in a rush, and helping more women take their place in the vanilla business.
