𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗧 𝗧𝗬𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗡 𝗖𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗡𝗨𝗣 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘 | 𝗦𝗦𝗔𝗦𝗛𝗦 𝗥𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

As Tropical Storm “TINO” swept across several parts of the Visayas, the Municipality of Albuera was among the affected areas, experiencing strong winds and heavy rainfall that caused damage to schools and communities.

In response, Seguinon Stand Alone Senior High School (SSASHS), led by Mr. Mark Suminguit, organized a school-based cleanup operation this afternoon to restore safety and order within the school campus. Together with school staff including Kuya Nanding and the dedicated Rover Scouts, the team worked hand-in-hand to clear debris, fallen branches, and leaves around the campus premises.

Beyond their own grounds, the Rover Scouts extended their help to Seguinon Elementary School, one of the most affected institutions in the area, where a large pine tree had fallen and scattered debris covered the schoolyard. Through teamwork and the true spirit of Scouting service, they successfully cleaned and prepared the area for the resumption of classes.

Though some minor repairs remain, this effort stands as a strong reminder that the spirit of service and Bayanihan never falters — even after the storm.

As the faithful remember their loved ones this November 1–2, 2025, the Rover Scouts of Seguinon Stand Alone Senior High School extended their “Duty to God and Country” through a meaningful community service at the public cemetery of Albuera, Leyte.

With compassion and bayanihan spirit, the scouts assisted families—especially the elderly—who found it difficult to climb the hilly parts of the cemetery. They also set up a free water station for visitors and offered a helping hand throughout the day.

This act of service reflects not only the true essence of scouting but also the values of empathy, respect, and faith that guide our youth leaders. 💚✨

BSP - Seguinon Stand Alone SHS Rover Scouts Show Commitment to Environmental Stewardship at Sibugay River Clean-Up

The BSP - Seguinon Stand Alone SHS Rover Scouts demonstrated their commitment to environmental stewardship by participating in the Sapa Clean-Up Drive held on February 28, 2025, at 7:00 AM along the Sibugay River. This initiative aligns with the National Arts Month Celebration 2025, themed "Ani ng Sining, Diwa at Damdamin." Their contribution to preserving the Sibugay River is highly commendable.
