TALON INTEGRATED SCHOOL CONDUCTS BAG INSPECTION TO STRENGTHEN SCHOOL SECURITY

Talon Integrated School conducted a routine bag inspection of learners as part of its continuing efforts to strengthen campus security and maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.

The activity was conducted with the assistance of the Barangay Tanods, who helped ensure the safety of learners during their arrival at school. The inspection aimed to prevent prohibited and potentially harmful items from entering the campus while reinforcing awareness of school safety policies. It was carried out in a respectful and professional manner, with due regard for the rights, privacy, and dignity of every learner.

School officials expressed their gratitude to the Barangay Tanods, school personnel, parents, and the entire school community for their continued support in promoting a culture of safety and shared responsibility. They also acknowledged the generosity of an anonymous donor for providing the handheld metal scanner, which has further enhanced the school's security measures.

Education Program Supervisors Mahnnie Q. Tolentino - LRMDS, Rebecca R. Ibarreta - MAPEH, Dr. Analyn C. Perez - GMRC/VALUES together with Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS) Dr. Apolonio C. Payba visited Talon Integrated School on July 13, 2026.

The on-site visit forms part of the Department of Education's continuing commitment to ensure quality education through on-site monitoring, coaching, and professional support for school personnel. Also, it serves as an opportunity to address concerns encountered by the school and to share best practices that promote effective teaching, efficient school management, and improved learner outcomes.

Talon Integrated School expressed its gratitude to the visiting education officials for their valuable insights, encouragement, and unwavering support. The school's teaching and non-teaching personnel welcomed the opportunity to learn from the experts and strengthen their commitment to delivering quality, learner-centered education.

Inviting the Guidance of the Holy Spirt with hearts united in faith and hope, Talon Integrated School celebrated the Mass of the Holy Spirit on July 7, 2026.

The mass was presided by Rev. Fr. Zaldy B. Zarandin, Parish Priest and it was attended by the school community under the leadership of Cherry Mary Ruiz, Principal II.

Students, teachers, parents, and school personnel gathered as one community to seek God's guidance, wisdom, and abundant blessings as they begin another meaningful school year. The celebration served as a solemn reminder that with faith as our foundation and the Holy Spirit as our guide, every challenge becomes an opportunity to learn, grow, and serve with excellence.

May the Holy Spirit continue to inspire our learners, empower our educators, and strengthen our entire school community as we work together in nurturing minds, building character, and shaping a brighter future.
