🎒 SECURITY UPDATE: Keeping Our Campus Safe, Welcoming, and Productive!

In line with DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026 (Ensuring a Safe and Motivating Learning Environment), DepEd Lupo Elementary School is implementing updated school campus safety and inspection guidelines.

Our ultimate goal is to maintain a secure learning environment where every student, teacher, staff member, and visitor feels safe and protected. 💙

Here is what you need to know about our routine entry and safety protocols:

are inspections conducted?
We conduct these routine checks to prevent hazards and maintain a peaceful campus environment.

is covered?
Everyone. All learners, school personnel, and visitors must submit their bags for a routine check at the school entrance.

is authorized to conduct checks?
Designated non-teaching staff or authorized SPTA (School Parent-Teacher Association) members.

🚫 Strict Prohibitions & Respect for Privacy
We value our students' rights and dignity. All inspections will strictly follow respectful, non-contact protocols:

Non-Contact Methods: Personnel will only visually inspect the contents of bags and belongings.

Physical Searches: "Stop and Frisk" or physical body pat-downs are strictly prohibited.

Touching of Personal Items: Personnel should avoid touching personal belongings unless absolutely necessary to get a clear view.

for Full Searches (Only under Reasonable Suspicion)
In rare cases where reasonable suspicion exists, a full search cannot be conducted in public:

The learner will be escorted respectfully to the Office of the Head Teacher.

A Guidance Counselor or a designated staff member must be present throughout the entire process to protect the learner's well-being.

DepEd Lupo Elementary School proudly joins the ARAL Summer Program of Department of Education!
🗓️May 6 – June 2, 2026

The orientation for the regular ARAL classes was successfully conducted by the School Head, Gina Solita together with parents, learners, and teachers, as part of the official opening of this summer learning program.

The ARAL Program (Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning) aims to strengthen learners’ reading, math, and foundational skills through meaningful and engaging activities.
