𝐃𝐒𝐖𝐃 𝐏𝐀𝐆𝐋𝐀𝐇𝐔𝐓𝐀𝐘 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗘𝗺𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐒𝐋𝐏 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝗔𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝗗𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝗩𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠.

The 𝐃𝐒𝐖𝐃 𝐏𝐀𝐆𝐋𝐀𝐇𝐔𝐓𝐀𝐘 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦, under 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒, conducted a focused training on 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 for 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 (𝐏𝐃𝐎𝐬). The activity aimed to enhance the PDOs’ ability to manage, analyze, and present the data they regularly gather from communities under the 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 (𝐒𝐋𝐏).

As key frontline personnel, PDOs handle reports from the municipal up to the national level, making accurate and clear data essential to program planning and decision-making. The training addressed these needs by equipping them with practical skills using 𝐏𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧-𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥.

Serving as Resource Person, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐂. 𝐀𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐨 facilitated hands-on sessions tailored to the PDOs’ daily tasks. Participants learned how to set up datasets, generate charts, and create visual reports that effectively communicate trends and insights.

The workshop fostered an engaging learning environment where PDOs shared common challenges in data handling and discovered new ways to make reporting more efficient and meaningful.

Through this initiative, the PAGLAHUTAY Program reinforces its commitment to continuous improvement and data-driven program management, ensuring that SLP reporting remains accurate, relevant, and responsive to the needs of communities.

The College of Computing and Information Sciences (CCIS) Extension Services at Caraga State University successfully conducted the Project SIKAT training and workshop on September 26, 2025, at the TBI Facility, Hiraya Hall, CSU Ampayon Campus.

The theme "𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞: 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐓𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨-𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞" brought together aspiring and existing micro-entrepreneurs for a day of learning by equipping participants with practical knowledge and essential techniques for transforming business ideas into sustainable income-generating ventures.

The participant's active involvement throughout the sessions contributed to the overall success of the activity and fostered a collaborative learning environment among attendees.

Through this participation, the participant demonstrated commitment to personal and professional development and readiness to apply acquired business tools and strategies in real-world entrepreneurial endeavors.

The 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 (𝗖𝗖𝗜𝗦) 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 recently conducted an ocular visit at 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 (𝗟𝗡𝗛𝗦) to explore collaboration opportunities and assess training needs for faculty development.

Leading the visit was 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗖. 𝗗𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲, CCIS Faculty and Extension Coordinator, who facilitated the coordination and focus group discussion (FGD) with LNHS faculty. He was joined by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗼, CCIS Faculty and identified knowledge expert in 3D Modeling, Printing, and Robotics.

From LNHS, 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗲𝗰𝘆 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹 𝗕. 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼, STE Coordinator and 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗮 𝗧. 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗹𝗼𝗻, Robotics Teacher actively engaged in the discussions and coordination for the school’s capacity-building initiatives.

The visit primarily aimed to assess the teachers’ training needs related to their available equipment and facilities. The upcoming training program is designed to equip LNHS teachers with the skills to maximize the use of their procured 𝟯𝗗 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 and 𝗔𝗿𝗱𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗸𝗶𝘁𝘀 for teaching, research, and innovative projects.

This initiative reflects CCIS Extension Services’ commitment to supporting local schools by sharing expertise, enhancing technological competencies, and fostering innovation in education.

The training convened educators from across the DepEd Butuan City Division with the shared goal of enhancing their digital competencies and adopting innovative teaching strategies for tech-enabled classrooms.

One of the highlights of the first day was a technical session on “𝗧𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀, 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝘀,” facilitated by 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣. 𝗔𝗯𝗮𝗼, Chairperson of the IT Department of CCIS. The session addressed common technical challenges encountered in classroom settings and introduced practical strategies for resolving these issues, thereby enabling educators to maintain seamless digital teaching operations.
