Sulit bang Magcharge sa Paid Charging Station vs Charging at Home?

We’ll for my POV, i would rather charge at home using a slower charger since i have the means to charge at home.

Meralco Rate Home Slow Charge - P14.00 per Kilowatt
AC Mobility Fast Charger - P35 per Kilowatt

VF3’s Battery capacity is only 18kwh

Thus,

Estimated cost are:

Meralco - P14 x 18kwh = P252
Ac Mobility - P35 x 18kwh = P630

And thats rated for almost 200KM Range

Clearly, tipid kung home charging ka! Lalo na kung naka solar ka pa.

But i rarely charge at home, i do take advantage of the Free Charging Station of Vinfast.

I dont mind waiting since i can work on my laptop while charging!

Though these Paid Charging Stations are Life Savers specially when driving away from your usual daily drive. They are very important to further advance the EV industry.

REAL TALK - Range Anxiety? NOT Really! What Im Concerned of is the Reliability of the Charging Station. That is my real problem.

2nd Charging Stop CB Mall Urdaneta Pangasinan! My VF3 (Full EV) Going to Baguio.

Like Yesterday while me and my wife were planning for this trip, this Charging Station suddenly dissappeared from EVRO App( App used for charging EV).

Status indicated that this station is Offline. What if we are already on our trip and we thought everythings perfect! Then suddenly, pagdating dito bigla nalang Offline? OmG! As in OMG talaga!

So basically hindi lang yung trip/distance and charging station ang need mo planuhin. You are required to have Plan B & C. If something fails at least you are prepared and know what to do. So ako, i always bring my portable dc charger with the extension with ground. Para if ever man, punta ako sa pulis or baranggay or even makikikatok sa may bahay at kakapalan ang muka para humingi ng tulong at makicharge. Magbabayad nalang po ako.

So you see, hindi lahat maganda with full EV. Maybe pang city driving lang talaga sya recommendable because our charging infrastracture is still in its infancy period. But im hoping for the time na mas dumami pa ang charging station and station that could cater to all types of charging ports.

Charging at CB Mall Urdaneta. Sabi sa Evro App 2 port sa CCS2 port, pero isa lang pala. Buti nalang walang nag chacharge. Kung hindi mas lalko kami tumagal sa Biyahe..
