In Bohol and the Visayas, the Cebuano word “amping” is a way to say “take care,” “be careful,” or “goodbye.”

It’s similar to “ingat” in Tagalog or “take care” in English.
For example, “Amping” means goodbye, and “Amping kanunay” means “always take care.

I think it's beautiful to say amping at the end of a conversation, it's more than just a goodbye. It's a small reminder to care for each other until you meet again. 🤍
