๐ฃ Code Break Session Successfully Launched! ๐ปโจ
The first session of the Code Break Series was successfully conducted today, May 05, 2026, at Isabela State University โ Angadanan Campus.
We were honored to have Dr. Ronald B. Rivera as our speaker, who delivered an engaging discussion on the fundamentals of Java programming. The session served as a valuable refresher for students, reinforcing core concepts and strengthening their foundational knowledge. An interactive โSpot the Errorโ activity was also conducted, allowing participants to better understand Java basics.
The event was attended by enthusiastic 1st and 2nd Year Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) students, marking a strong start for this learning initiative.
In addition, the session introduced the implementation of Project DALO (Digital Attendance Logs Optimization)โa system designed to assist organizations and the Office of Student Affairs ko and Services (OSAS) in efficiently monitoring activities, processing permits, and managing attendance through QR code-based logging. This system was also utilized to record the attendance of participants during the event.
Notably, this project is an initiative of the BS Information Technology Program, under the leadership of Dr. Benjamin E. Bulawit Jr., BSIT Program Chair, reflecting the programโs commitment to innovation and digital transformation in academic processes.
This successful launch highlights a strong commitment to continuous learning, collaboration, and the integration of technology in education.

Project IGNIITE ANHS successfully conducted its first learning session focused on Video Editing, empowering teachers with modern digital skills that can enhance classroom instruction. The session was led by Dr. Benjamin E. Bulawit Jr., Program Chairperson of the BS Information Technology program, who shared his expertise in using Filmora. Through this hands-on training, participating teachers learned essential video editing skills such as importing videos and pictures, adding music, and applying transitionsโtools that will help them create more engaging and effective learning materials for their students.
The activity was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Junior Philippine Computer Society (JPCS) and BSIT OJT students, who served as facilitators to guide participants throughout the session. The event was also graced by the presence of Dr. Ronald Rivera and John Paul Masuhay, whose support further strengthened the success of the program.
