DepEd Angono National High School

In line with the reiteration of DepEd Memorandum No. 167, s. 2010, regarding the dissemination of Republic Act No. 10028 (Expanded Breastfeeding Promotion Act of 2009), all schools are encouraged to support the implementation of the Act through the following:

1. Establish a Lactation Room/Station in your school. In accordance with Section 11 of R.A. No. 10028:
“It is hereby mandated that all health and non-health facilities, establishments, or institutions shall establish lactation stations.”
2. Schools may designate a space within the School Clinic as the lactation room. Please ensure that a visible “LACTATION ROOM” signage is posted.
3. Kindly conduct an information dissemination by posting on your school’s official page or Messenger group, highlighting that your school is implementing and supporting the provisions of R.A. No. 10028.
4. After completing the above, please share photos of your Lactation Room and your information dissemination post in our group chat (GC) for documentation and monitoring.
