Case Study - Toyota Hi Lux 1997 Model

Customer Concern : Vehicle has not been used since the start of the 1st Lockdown, No-Crank No-Start, Brakes doesn’t work. Needs Preventive Maintenance Service.

Initial Diagnosis : Vehicle was brought over to the shop via flat bed from Alabang to Antipolo due to the No Crank, No Start issue

Vehicle & Engine Bay Inspection : Battery was down to 3V, starter interior contacts worn out, air intake hose badly worn and leaks air, brake master reservoir is full of debris and rust, both front and rear left side brake bleeders are clogged up, coolant is diluted with tap water, exhaust pipe has a major hole, battery terminals were not to spec and the negative terminal was hitting the underside of the hood, busted brake lights, AC not working, driver side door sidings was rattling, vinyl seat covers were moldy.

Works and Repairs Done :

Battery Charged up to 12.6V
Starter Assembly General Service and new contacts installed
Engine Oil and Filter Changed (last change was 2018)
Brake System General Service
Fuel System General Service
Engine Cooling System Service
Exhaust Leak Repair (Client requested for a clean out to be installed)
Battery Terminals Updated
Brake Lights Changed
AC System General Service
New Air Intake Hose Installed
Driver Side Door Sidings Serviced
Vehicle Interior General Cleaning
Engine Bay General Cleaning

Final Diagnosis : Vehicle starts up rapidly, runs great, stops securely, has full functioning AC, door sidings rattling gone, overall very comfortable to drive around and use.
