Aftertaste Ph

Aftertaste is a five-piece band formed in 2023 in Tabaco City, Albay, Bicol. The group explores a range of music genres influenced by their diverse musical backgrounds and raw, expressive energy.
The band is composed of Jay Balana on vocals, Arj Bueza on bass guitar, Ely Chavenia on lead guitar, Eon Chester on rhythm guitar, and JD Borbe on drums.
In 2025, due to scheduling conflicts, Aftertaste welcomed session
drummers to support both live and studio performances.
Recorded, mixed, and remastered by Jay Emmanuel Salamat of Salamat Music Studio, “Triangulo” showcases Aftertaste’s commitment to authenticity and musical craftsmanship — a promising start to their growing presence in the Filipino rock scene
Their debut single, “Triangulo,” written and composed by Froi Bron of Circusdive, is a politically charged anthem that speaks against corruption and social inequality. Arranged and performed by Aftertaste.
