PECU MAGUINDANAO DEL SUR CONDUCTS POST-BLAST OPERATIONS IN SHARIFF AGUAK

In line with the PNP Focused Agenda on Enhanced Managing Police Operations, personnel of the Provincial EOD and Canine Unit (PECU) Maguindanao del Sur, led by PMSg Efren John A Torricer, Assistant Team Leader, under the supervision of PLT HENRY O DAYOT, OIC, RECU BAR, successfully conducted a Post-Blast Investigation (PBI) at Sitio Malinis, Brgy. Mother Poblacion, Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao del Sur.

Prior to the investigation, the team executed a meticulous 5/25 search to ensure the area was clear of secondary devices. Working in close coordination with the Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU MDS) and the Investigator-on-Case (IOC) of Shariff Aguak MPS, the team recovered critical evidence from the Seat of Explosion (SOE), including three metal fragments, a safety lever suspected to be from a fragmentation hand gr***de, and soil samples for chemical analysis.

Following a final walkthrough to ensure no further hazards remained, the scene was officially turned over to the Shariff Aguak MPS for legal proceedings.

This operation, conducted under the leadership of PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO, JR, Director, PNP-EOD/K9 Group, underscores the unit's unwavering commitment to specialized investigation and public safety within the BARMM region.
