𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 | 𝑁𝑒𝑔𝑟𝑜𝑠 𝑃𝑒𝑒𝑟 𝑆𝑢𝑚𝑚𝑖𝑡 𝐴𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 2026

On 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝 11, the Negros Peer Action Summit 2026 was held at the Uno-Recoletos Gymnasium. With the theme "𝐷𝑖𝑔𝑖𝑡𝑎𝑙 𝑀𝑖𝑛𝑑𝑠, 𝐻𝑢𝑚𝑎𝑛 𝐶𝑜𝑛𝑛𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛: 𝐶𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑆𝑎𝑓𝑒 𝑆𝑝𝑎𝑐𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ 𝑃𝑒𝑒𝑟 𝑆𝑢𝑝𝑝𝑜𝑟𝑡 𝑖𝑛 𝑀𝑜𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑛 𝐶𝑜𝑚𝑚𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑒𝑠", the event was a huge success with mental health advocate participants from different schools across the Negros Occidental region.

The program commenced with preliminaries, followed by the Opening Remarks and Message by 𝙈𝙧. 𝙏𝙝𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙨 𝙅𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙖, RGC, and VP of NOGCA. After this, Mr. 𝙅𝙖𝙣 𝙄𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝘿𝙚𝙢𝙖-𝙖𝙡𝙖 , NOPFA Chairman, who presented the vision and mission of the association. Next was our Guest Speaker, 𝙈𝙨. 𝘼𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙤, PhD, RGC, LPT, who delivered an insightful lecture about Digital Safe Spaces. She helped us have insight and realizations about the importance of protecting ourselves online while valuing genuine relationships in real life, allowing everyone to gain deep understanding and fully grasp the core lessons of the topic.

Following her discussion, an open forum took place, succeeded by the giving of tokens and certificates to recognize her willingness to share her expertise with the participants of our event. Subsequently, the 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙍𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙨 were held: this marked the formal establishment of NOPFA members, officially welcoming them as part of the association, strengthening their voices to reach more people who need support.

Once the seminar and formal Lectures were completed, 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙂𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙨 were facilitated for the NOPFA members. Seeing their happy faces showed how much they truly enjoyed the activity, making the event even more meaningful for everyone present.

Overall, the event ran smoothly from start to finish. As we believe that "𝐼𝑡 𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑟𝑡𝑠 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑢𝑠", may we always continue to understand and use our voice to help others. May we carry all the insights we gained from this seminar and lecture, and share them with the world through our words and actions.

✨ 𝑷𝒆𝒆𝙍 𝑭𝒂𝒄𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑴𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 ✨

As we celebrate the almost end of the Month of Love, our peer facilitators shared something simple yet meaningful through an activity called “Pass the Heart.” 💌❤️

They wrote kind notes, heartfelt messages, and words of gratitude for one another, all written on heart-shaped papers as a symbol of appreciation and connection.

Love isn’t only romantic, it’s found in friendship, support, and sincere words that uplift others. Let’s continue to pass the heart, even beyond February. ❤️

✨ 𝑷𝒆𝒆𝙍𝙚𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔 ✨

💭 Sometimes, love doesn’t ask for explanations. It doesn’t require perfection, achievements, or conditions. It simply chooses, stays, and embraces. Real love is not earned, it is given freely, wholeheartedly, and without question. 💗🌷

💭 Sometimes love comes when you least expect it, quietly, gently, and at the perfect time. It meets you in ordinary days, in shared laughter, in understanding glances, and in moments when your heart is finally ready. 💗🌷
