Ever stared at an artwork and felt like it’s moving or playing tricks on your eyes? That’s the magic of Optical Art – or OP ART for short! ❤️😵‍💫

As part of Grade 10 art lessons exploring the elements of modern art, they are learning how this fascinating style uses geometric patterns, bold lines, color contrasts, and repetition to create incredible visual illusions. Even though the pieces are static, the way shapes and hues interact makes our eyes perceive movement, depth, or hidden forms!

It’s amazing how students turn simple visual elements into something that feels alive – proof that art isn’t just about what you see, but how your brain interprets it too! 🎨

Their theme’s 'PAGKADALUBHASA: PAGkain at KAlinangan; DAan sa LUBos na HAndang SAmbayanan' – all about how mastery connects our food, our culture, and paves the way for a truly ready and caring community!

The best part? They got to use ANY materials they wanted – from paint and markers to recycled bits and unexpected finds – giving them free rein to explore creativity in every possible way! No pre-made designs, no limits – just creative minds, bold ideas, and passion that jumps right off every poster!

It’s like our halls are blooming with colors and textures that tell the story of who we are and what we can build together!
