𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫-𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. 💜

The Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS) successfully conducted its 2nd Quarter Meeting, bringing together GFPS members to discuss important GAD initiatives and plans for stronger and more inclusive governance.

Key agenda included the reorganization of the GFPS through an Executive Order, preparation of the CY 2027 GAD Plan and Budget, updates on CY 2026 GAD Fund Utilization, and the review and endorsement of the CY 2027 Barangay GAD Plan and Budget.

As part of the month-long celebration of Women’s Month 2026, 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐀𝐃 𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐆𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐏. 𝐃𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐲, served as a Resource Speaker during the 2-day symposium entitled “𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐆𝐀𝐃 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐀𝐃 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬” held on March 18–19.

The symposium aimed to enhance the understanding of 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐆𝐀𝐃) 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬 among advocates and stakeholders, strengthening their role in promoting gender equality and inclusive development in the community.
