Thank God it's Friday and thank God it's a holiday!
..and finally, am home. 🏡💜

After that agonizing journey from Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat, two days of battling dizziness and discomfort, I can finally breathe, rest and say… I made it through. 🙏

Grateful for safe travels and even more grateful for the comfort of home.

Sometimes, it’s in moments like this that we’re reminded how healing it is just to be still, to recover and to feel okay again.

Waking up at 55 with this morning’s Gospel ...
“Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful…
Forgive and you will be forgiven.
Give — and gifts will be given to you… overflowing.” (Luke 6:36–38)

Yes, at 55, I affirm...
Mercy is not weakness. It is strength.
Forgiveness is not loss. It is freedom.
And giving... whether kindness, time or love always comes back in ways we don’t expect.

As I thought more about it, i agree that love doesn’t have to be loud to be real.

At 55, I am thankful for:
✨ another day to grow
✨ another chance to forgive
✨ another opportunity to give
✨ and simple mornings wrapped in grace

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the gift of this new day.
Teach me to be merciful when it is easier to judge,
to forgive when it is hard,
and to give even when I feel I have little left.
Let my heart overflow with the same grace You pour into my life.
And may I carry Your love gently into every moment today. Amen. 🙏💛
