𝐒𝐂𝐈𝐠𝐚𝐰 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧 | 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲

A successful 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 was conducted at 𝐑𝐚𝐲𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐲, 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐛𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐢, 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐬 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞 from 8:00 to 12:00 PM, with the theme “𝑮𝒓𝒐𝒘 𝒂 𝑻𝒓𝒆𝒆, 𝑮𝒓𝒐𝒘 𝒂 𝑭𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆.” The event was spearheaded by the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) and selected students, educators, and community stakeholders in a collective effort to protect and sustain the environment.

A total of 63 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, together with their 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬, the 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐌. 𝐃𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐚, representatives from the 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 (𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐑), 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐝𝐬, and a representative of the 𝐀𝐛𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, participated in the activity. The group worked hand in hand to plant trees around the spring area, symbolizing a shared commitment to environmental conservation.

The initiative highlighted the vital role of schools and communities in promoting ecological awareness and responsibility among the youth. It also emphasized that simple yet meaningful actions, such as tree planting, contribute significantly to the preservation of natural resources for future generations.

The activity not only served as an environmental initiative but also as an avenue for instilling in students the value of stewardship, collaboration, and forward-looking action. As the theme aptly puts it, “𝑮𝒓𝒐𝒘 𝒂 𝑻𝒓𝒆𝒆, 𝑮𝒓𝒐𝒘 𝒂 𝑭𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆,” the trees planted today will stand as living testaments to the community’s vision of a greener and more sustainable tomorrow. 🌱
