Negosyo Center Barobo

On May 31, 2024, DTI-Surigao del Sur, through Negosyo Centre Barobo, conducted a Pricing and Costing Seminar, which was attended by 25 micro enterprises located in Barangay Poblacion, Lianga, Surigao del Sur. The purpose of the seminar is to share knowledge with participants on the value of accurately pricing and costing their goods.

The DTI's invitation to participate in this activity was much appreciated by the attendees.

The Department of Trade and Industry – Surigao del Sur through Negosyo Center Barobo, distributed livelihood kits worth 8,000.00 each to 17 qualified MSMEs of Barangay Javier, Barobo, and Ban-as, Lianga, Surigao del Sur on 24 June 2022. The distribution is part of the implementation of Livelihood Seeding Program-Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay.

The event was graced by Hon. Benigno M. Diorico, Jr. of Javier, Barobo and Hon. Rema D. Cabag of Ban-as, Lianga who expressed their gratitude to the government and DTI-SdS for helping the MSMEs in their barangay. Mrs. Mercedita M. Cabusas, one of the beneficiaries of Barangay Javier, Barobo said, “Grabe amo pagpasalamat sa taga DTI na isa mi sa natagaan ug livelihood kits, tungod niini, madungagan gayud among pag pang negosyo ug palambuon gayud namo kini.”

The beneficiaries signed the Pledge of Commitment to use livelihood kits to restore, recover, and improve their businesses.

DTI Surigao del Sur, through Negosyo Center Barobo, launched the Livelihood Seeding Program-Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay in Barangay Javier, Barobo, Surigao del Sur on 23 May 2022 where 57 potential and existing entrepreneurs were present. Hon. Jovie O. Gupana officially opened the program and expressed his appreciation to DTI for this initiative. TIDA Cresal Grace C. Malabanan presented DTI programs and services and conducted Entrepreneurial Awareness Seminar to the participants.
