BFP OPFM Batanes

Personnel of the Bureau of Fire Protection-Batanes, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐅𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐊𝐋𝐈𝐍 𝐁 𝐓𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐎, Provincial Fire Marshal, together with personnel of Basco Fire Station, proudly joined the celebration of the 128th Philippine Independence Day held at the Provincial Capitol Grounds, Basco, Batanes.

The commemorative program gathered government agencies, uniformed personnel, local officials, and community stakeholders in honoring the bravery, patriotism, and sacrifices of the Filipino heroes who fought for the nation's freedom and sovereignty. The event featured a flag-raising ceremony, wreath-laying activity, and messages from local leaders emphasizing the significance of unity, nationalism, and public service.

The participation of BFP Batanes in this historic occasion demonstrates its unwavering commitment not only to fire safety and emergency response but also to fostering patriotism and supporting activities that strengthen national identity and community solidarity. Through its presence, the Bureau pays tribute to the enduring legacy of the country's heroes and reaffirms its dedication to serving the Filipino people with honor, integrity, and excellence.

Personnel of the Bureau of Fire Protection – Batanes, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐅𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐊𝐋𝐈𝐍 𝐁 𝐓𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐎, Provincial Fire Marshal, together with the personnel of Basco and Mahatao Fire Stations, conducted the Monday Flag Ceremony at the Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal – Batanes.

During the ceremony, 𝐅𝐎𝟑 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐃𝐞𝐧 𝐃 𝐓𝐮𝐩𝐢ñ𝐨, Caretaker of Mahatao Fire Station, served as the Troop Information and Education Speaker and delivered an inspiring message centered on the value of “Character.” He emphasized the importance of integrity, discipline, respect, and professionalism in public service, reminding personnel that strong character is the foundation of effective leadership and dedicated service to the community. Also, 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐅𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐊𝐋𝐈𝐍 𝐁 𝐓𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐎, gave his message about "Obedience to lawful orders is a fundamental duty", follow lawful orders promptly and professionally, and there should be no objection to lawful orders, but unlawful orders must not be followed.
