Basey NHS - Special Program in the Arts

𝐁𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐘, 𝐒𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐑, 𝐍𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑 𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓— The BNHS-SPA SPARKS spearheaded a Candle Lighting and Prayer Initiative at the Basey National High School campus in commemoration of the 12th Anniversary of Super Typhoon Yolanda.

The initiative served as a solemn moment of remembrance for the lives lost and the families affected, while also honoring the resilience and unity of the Basey community. Participants offered prayers and lit candles as symbols of hope, healing, and ongoing recovery.

Through this meaningful act, the SPARKS reaffirmed the importance of remembering the past while continuing to move forward with strength and compassion.

📍 𝘉𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘺, 𝘚𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘳 – 𝘈𝘶𝘨𝘶𝘴𝘵 23, 2025 | The 𝐁𝐍𝐇𝐒-𝐒𝐏𝐀 𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐊𝐒 actively participated in the 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 held 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟑–𝟐𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 at the 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐲 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐲𝐦𝐧𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐮𝐦. 🏟️ The two-day celebration gathered the youth of Basey to highlight their creativity, leadership, and talents through various activities and performances. 🎶💡⁣

Representing the school’s 𝘚𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘈𝘳𝘵𝘴, the 𝐒𝐏𝐀 𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐊𝐒 showcased their passion for the arts and culture, reflecting the spirit of Basaynon youth who continue to inspire and make a positive impact in the community. 🌟🙌 Their participation carried the message of unity under the theme: “𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐲, 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡.” ❤️🤝⁣

10.10.25 || 🌱 BACK-U-BACK Project: Babalik-balik para ibalik ang dating Bacubac 🤝

Led by the Basey Ignited Youth Alliance (BIYA), the SPARKS team along with the Basey Volleyball Club (BVC) collaborated for the Back-U-Back Clean-Up Drive in Brgy. Bacubac, Basey, Samar! 🌊 From picking up trash to restoring pride in our beaches, this day was all about teamwork and community love.

Shoutout to every volunteer who showed up—your energy turned this cleanup into a movement! 💪 Together, we’re proving that when the youth steps up, real change follows.
