𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗚𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗗𝗖 𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗔 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗥

Alḥamdulillāh, today marks a truly memorable and significant milestone for the International Balik Islam Da‘wah Centre (IBIDC), especially for the Muslim community in Bohol. With great joy and gratitude, we announce that the IBIDC Corella Chapter has been officially recognized by the Municipality of Corella.

This meaningful achievement was led by Amir Michael “Yasir” T. Dumali, together with the dedicated members of IBIDC Corella. Their efforts, unity, and commitment to da‘wah and community development have been instrumental in reaching this momentous occasion.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation and sincere gratitude to the officials of the Municipality of Corella, especially to the Honorable Mayor, the Vice Mayor, and all respective offices and bodies involved, for their warm welcome, recognition, and support. Your openness and hospitality reflect a shared vision of unity, respect, and peaceful coexistence within our community.

This recognition is not only an achievement for IBIDC, but a reflection of the growing presence, contribution, and positive engagement of Muslims in Bohol. It strengthens our resolve to continue serving the community with sincerity, wisdom, and compassion.

We humbly ask Allāh ﷻ to bless all those who contributed to this success, to grant continued guidance to our leaders, and to place barakah in this noble endeavor. May He unite our hearts upon truth, strengthen our efforts in da‘wah, and make this recognition a means of greater الخير for all. Āmīn.

Alḥamdulillāh, another blessed and meaningful Jumu‘ah has passed — a day filled with reflection, knowledge, unity, and da‘wah. Every Jumu‘ah reminds us that Islam is a mercy and a light from Allāh ﷻ, serving as a weekly renewal of īmān for the hearts and souls of the believers.

𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦 𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗗

1.) JUMU‘AH KHUTBAH

Topic: Ramaḍān Special: The Danger of the Tongue

• Ust. Dan discussed the serious dangers of the tongue, emphasizing how words can either elevate a person or lead them to destruction.
• He highlighted the importance of guarding one’s speech, especially during Ramaḍān, as true fasting is not only from food and drink but also from harmful and sinful speech.
• He also explained relevant āyāt and aḥādīth that remind us of accountability for every word we utter.

2.) FRIDAY NOON LECTURE (FOR MEN)

Topic: The Different Types of People During Fasting
• Ust. Dan explained that people differ in their fasting — some gain full reward, while others may only gain hunger and thirst.
• He encouraged everyone to strive for sincerity, discipline, and excellence in their ‘ibādah during this blessed month.

Lecture for Women
By: Ustadhah Maria Anna Theresa Penales
Topic: The Characteristics and Manners of a Muslim Woman
• Ustadhah Maan discussed the essential qualities of a righteous Muslim woman, emphasizing modesty, dignity, and strong faith.
• She also reminded everyone of the importance of good character, proper conduct, and adherence to Islamic values in daily life.

Note: There was no Jumu‘ah feast held, as the community is observing fasting during the blessed month of Ramaḍān.

Alḥamdulillāh, may Allāh ﷻ accept the efforts of everyone who attended, contributed, and supported our Jumu‘ah activities. May He increase us in guidance, unite our hearts upon the truth, and shower our community with mercy and barakah. Āmīn Yā Rabb.

𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗗𝗖 2𝗡𝗗 𝗜𝗙𝗧𝗔𝗥 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗠 & 𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗥

Alḥamdulillāh, a truly joyful and blessed Ramaḍān continues to unfold in our community, as we once again gathered in unity to break our fast together. Moments like these strengthen our brotherhood and sisterhood, reminding us that Ramaḍān is not only a time of Ibadah, but also a time of compassion, generosity, and togetherness.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude and sincere appreciation to our generous sponsor of yesterday’s ifṭār and dinner. May Allāh ﷻ reward you with the best of rewards (Jazākumullāhu Khayran), as your noble intention was an expression of gratitude to Allāh for your success in becoming a Certified Ustadh recognized by the Department of Education, as well as the success of your beloved wife who has also passed the LET. May Allāh ﷻ place barakah in your knowledge, your achievements, and your family.

We also extend our special thanks to the IBIDC Duck-Farm, headed by Amir Michael “Yasir” T. Dumali, for providing a truly delightful and memorable dinner — featuring whole fried duck and the special dish known as Patutin.
May Allāh ﷻ accept our fasting, our du‘ā’, and our gatherings, and may He continue to unite our hearts upon goodness and sincerity. Āmīn.
