When I joined the creative scene, I noticed something that made me sad —
Many people only see talent as real when it comes from big cities or other countries.

There’s still a strong belief that things from outside cities or even from abroad, are more valuable.
Why can’t we support and lift up our local artists while they’re still here?
Why do we need outsiders to see the value of our own people before we support them?

How do we break free from colonial mentality and cultural inferiority?
Can we build stronger communities, support systems, or movements that don’t need outside approval just to feel valid?
Why do we believe we are "less" just because we come from smaller places?

This shirt reminds me of where I started.
I still hope for the day when we don’t have to leave our hometown just to be seen.

Last year was just the first step.
